So How Do You Feel About Zappa, Anyway

Frank Zappa as a composer is the focus of a three part doc that begins
today, called I Am All Day All Night.

The series features interviews with Ruth Underwood (the percussionist),
Joe Travers, Elliott Ingber (guitarist in an early incarnation of
Mothers of Invention) and Frank Zappa's wife, Gail Zappa. Also, there
are excerpts from a CBC interview with Zappa himself (recorded in 1992,
the year before his death).

Zappa's one of those polarizing musicians who people either get...or
don't. For those in the former category, one listener summed it up,
saying Zappa's music is "A manual for how a young person should learn
about and explore the non-linear, fantastical world of music."

What about Zappa's music moves you? (Or doesn't, as the case may be?!)
